For this book club, we will be using the book The Adventures of Robin Hood by Roger Lancelyn Green.

You can purchase it in paperback and hardcover. It is also available at many local libraries. This is the only book you will need for this book club.

You will also need a notebook for your notes, copywork, dictation, and journaling.

**Parent Note:

A classic, action-packed collection of episodic tales about Robin Hood and his band fighting tyranny in medieval England. The prose is accessible and exciting, with themes of loyalty, justice, and courage shining through. While there’s danger and conflict, it remains age-appropriate with no graphic violence. Families should be aware that Green’s retelling retains outdated language from original ballads—some of which reflect historical biases or offensive terminology—and the ending carries emotional weight as it alludes to Robin’s final departure.
