Resources Needed for the Magic Dust Projects:
You will need the following supplies for projects listed throughout the course. You do not have to complete each project. Choose those you think would be interesting or fun.
Project 1, Mallet Art
- A mallet (a small, light one that's easy to handle)
- White or light-colored paper or fabric
- Leaves, grass, flowers, and berries you find outside
- An outdoor space with a hard surface like concrete or a wooden board.
Project 2, Marionette
- body pattern or draw your own
- felt
- drill
- eyelets
- wooden spheres or cubes
- things to decorate like googly eyes, pipe cleaners, or fuzzy balls
- popsicle sticks or dowels
- awl
- needle and thread
- scissors
Project 3, Cloud in a Bottle
- large plastic bottle
- rubbing alcohol
- push pin
- pencil
- small piece of clay
- ball pump
Project 4, Paper Bag Shirt/vest
- A large paper grocery bag
- Scissors
- Markers, crayons, or paint
- Stickers or glue-on decorations (like sequins or paper shapes)
- A ruler
