San Francisco is a city in California that sits right by the ocean. It’s famous for its steep hills, cool fog, and a huge red bridge called the Golden Gate Bridge. You might see people riding bikes or walking across it. Sometimes, the bridge is so foggy it looks like it disappears into the sky.

Another fun thing about San Francisco is the cable cars. These special street cars go up and down the hills and ring their bells as they move. You can also visit places like Fisherman’s Wharf, where sea lions bark and sunbathe, and you can eat yummy sourdough bread shaped like animals.
