It's not easy for a young boy to want a dog and not be able to have one. It starts gnawing on his heart, and gets all mixed up in his dreams.

  • Write it in neatly your journal.
  • Be careful to punctuate and capitalize the way the author did and watch for spelling. If you make any errors, correct them.
  • Study this passage this week until you are asked to dictate it to your teacher.
  • This month, our grammar will be about conjunctions. But, before we get started on conjunctions, we're going to do a little review. Let's start with learning about phrases and clauses in the video below. Then find all the phrases and clauses in your copywork.
