For this book club, we will be using the book, The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

You can purchase it in digital, paperback, hardcover, and audio formats. It is also available at many local libraries. This is the only book you will need for this book club.

You will also need a notebook for your notes, copywork, dictation, and journaling.

Note to the Parent:

This beloved novella is a poetic and allegorical tale that explores friendship, love, and the delicate line between childhood and adulthood. While there's no graphic or explicit content, the story includes emotionally profound moments and an ending that suggests a metaphorical departure or “death”, which readers often find poignant. The tone is thoughtful and imaginative, but families may wish to be prepared for its quietly reflective and somewhat melancholic atmosphere.

I recommend this course for upper elementary age children and older. As with any children's resource, please refer to trusted sources for reviews before reading. For your reference, we have linked Common Sense Media's review.
