**Important Note: This course must be completed in the order it is written. In order to progress to future lessons, the student must choose Complete and Continue. The student will also need to complete the quizzes in order to proceed. However, there is no limit on the number of times a quiz can be taken.

What is in this course?

This is a one-semester course in Psychology for high school students.

The text used in this course is a college-level text written by professors from several universities. Students will be given reading assignments.

The videos that are aligned with the text are created by Crash Course and are high school level. Students will be asked to watch videos that will help summarize the text of the chapter they are reading.

The owner of Hide The Chocolate's Literary Adventures for Kids does not agree or disagree with opinions in the text or videos. This course is provided to give the student a broad view of the study of Psychology.

Show What You Know Sections

In the Show What You Know Sections, students are asked to complete a quiz based on information they have read in the text. This quiz is mandatory to move forward in the lessons. The quiz must be taken to move forward. However, the quiz can be taken as many times as needed.

Students will also be asked to answer one of the Critical Thinking Questions. They may submit their answers to parents for review or add them to the comments section and a member of the teaching staff will review them.

Certificate

Once the student has completed the course, they will receive a certificate. You may print this out for your records.
