Resources Needed for the Magic Dust Projects:

You will need the following supplies for projects listed throughout the course. You do not have to complete each project. Choose those you think would be interesting or fun.

Project 1, Pen Pals

• Paper
• Pen or Pencil
• Envelope
• Stamp

Project 2, Lemonade Sign

• A large piece of paper or poster board
• Markers, crayons, or colored pencils
• Stickers, glitter, or decorations (optional)
• A pencil to sketch your ideas
• A ruler (to help make straight lines)
  

Project 3, Lemonade Stand

• A table or box (for your stand)
• A tablecloth or large piece of paper (for decoration)
• Markers, crayons, or paint (to design your stand)
• Plastic cups and a pitcher (for pretend lemonade)
• Start-up money (for making change)
• Your lemonade stand sign (from our previous magic dust)
  

Project 4, Homemade Pretzels

• 1½ cups warm water
• 1 tablespoon salt
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 1 packet dry active yeast
• 4½ cups flour
• 3 tablespoons oil, divided
• ⅔ cup baking soda
• 2 eggs, beaten
• Coarse salt
