For this book club, we will be using the book Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson. You can purchase it in digital, paperback, hardcover, and audio formats. It is also available at many local libraries. This is the only book you will need for this book club.

You will also need a notebook for your notes, copywork, dictation, and journaling.

Parent Note:

This adventure classic includes pirates, mutiny, sword fights, gun violence, and death, though all are presented in a non-graphic, story-driven way. There are references to alcohol and criminal behavior, reflecting the seafaring setting. There is no sexual content or slurs. The novel emphasizes courage, loyalty, moral choices, and the excitement of adventure, making it well-suited for upper elementary and middle school readers who enjoy action-heavy stories.
