How to Journal in Just 5 Minutes a Day
How to Journal in Just 5 Minutes a Day and Help Your Child Become a Better
Journaling has enormous benefits. You can journal in 5 minutes a day and begin to see small changes to your writing and your mental health.
Write
This week, you will start your daily journaling. You will see lessons labeled Daily Journaling #1, etc. You will not be required to journal every day, although it's a great idea to aim for daily entries.
Daily journaling is one of the most powerful tools we’re using in this course. It helps students (and even parents) gain confidence, discover their voice, and improve mental clarity. But let’s be honest: it’s hard to find time for one more thing.
That’s why we’re keeping it simple: just 5 minutes a day.
You don’t need to write for an hour to become a better writer. In fact, short, focused sessions help build a consistent habit without the pressure. Five minutes is just enough to clear your mind, warm up your creativity, and explore an idea.
Keep this in mind as you complete your daily journaling this week.
Learn
This week, we will meet in person for our first lesson. Make sure to join our Zoom meeting on Tuesday, September 2nd, at 12:00 pm Central.
