You will need the following supplies for projects listed throughout the course. You do not have to complete each project. Choose those you think would be interesting or fun.
Project 1, Volcano
- 2 liter empty bottle
- mesh
- modeling clay
- moss
- food coloring
- vinegar
- baking soda
- glue gun and glue
Project 2, Blowing Bubbles
- 18 cups distilled water (3.8 Liters)
- 1/2 teaspoon J-lube
- 4.25 oz Surgilube (one small bottle)
- 1/4 cup glycerine (also known as glycerol)
- 2 cups Dawn Professional Dish Detergent
- Cotton T-Shirt
- 2 sticks
Project 3, Origami Birds
- Origami paper (square paper)
Project 4, Make a Dragon Egg
- Thumb Tacks
- Nail Polish in your color choice
- Styrofoam Egg
- Clear Matte Spray
- Glitter Nail Polish or Glitter Paint Spray
Project 5, Make Lightning
- Aluminum Foil
- Empty bottle with a Cap
- Scissors
- Tape
- Electrical Wire
- Copper Wire
- Wire cutter
- Nail
- Glue Gun
- Salt
- Water
- Pencil
- Ping Pong Ball
- Balloon
Project 6, Mint Tea
- 2 cups filtered water
- 15 fresh mint leaves (peppermint or spearmint)
- 1 to 2 teaspoons sugar (or honey), optional
- 1 cup ice, optional
- 2 lemon slices, optional
- Fresh lemon juice, optional
