Go Outside on an Adventure: Go on a Fairy Hunt
Fairies love to hide in quiet, beautiful places. Let’s go outside and look for signs that they might be nearby!
Go to your backyard, garden, park, or wooded area.
- Look carefully around trees, rocks, and flowers for fairies. Move slowly and notice the small details. Fairies are very good at hiding!
- Observe what you see.
- Do you notice any tiny doors in tree trunks or between rocks?
- Can you find toadstools that could be fairy seats or soft moss that might make a good fairy bed?
- Did you find any:
- Toadstool seats?
- Bluebell hats?
- Buttercup lanterns?
- Acorn cup goblets?
- Fern ladders?
- Soft, mossy beds?
- Take out your Nature Journal or sketchbook and record your observations. Sketch something that you think a fairy might use or a place where one might live.
Label your drawing and include the date, time, and weather.
🕵️♀️ Try This:
Leave a tiny gift for the fairies—a pebble, a small flower, or a shiny button—and check back later to see if it’s been moved!
