Writing Project

This month you will be writing a compare-contrast essay. To help us understand comparing and contrasting two subjects, we will start by comparing two characters in our story, Of Mice and Men.

Directions:

1. Take notes on the characters George and Lennie. Pay attention to their personalities, backgrounds, and relationships with each other. Use the Character List provided to help you.
2. Brainstorm similarities and differences between George and Lennie. This can be done through the Venn diagram below, where the overlapping area represents similarities and the separate areas represent differences.
3. Continue adding characteristics to your Venn diagram through the end of the book.
