Adding just the right amounts of technology and adventure are the keys to engaging your children in literature.

I've been in your shoes. My kids hated to read.

They complained about their literature assignments and insisted they were just another chore. I tried bribery and prizes, but they didn’t seem to sway my kids’ attitudes toward reading. They would do the reading assignment, but begrudgingly and not with any joy. They had no desire to pick up a book, and how could a simple book compete with the barrage of online temptations available?

And things just got worse as they got older.

All my methods of inspiring and motivating them went out the window along with read-alouds and morning time. Convincing them to cooperate with siblings and finish their reading assignments became a daily battle. At one point, I almost gave up. I almost decided to say goodbye to our sweet homeschool and enroll them in traditional school.

Fortunately, it didn't come to that.

One day, I accidentally came upon a way to get the kids excited about our family reading.

It literally changed our homeschool, and I was determined to figure out how to keep the excitement going. That day, I added a little enchantment to our homeschool—a spark of joy. It came in the form of a cookie. It was how we could walk a few steps in the character’s shoes.

It was purely accidental. But, it was magic.

I knew there had to be a better way to inspire my children to read, and I discovered that adding just the right amounts of technology and adventure were the keys to engaging them in literature. By using apps, movies, videos, and hands-on projects, I created a new way to teach literature that not only checked off the educational boxes but also brought joy and excitement to our homeschool.

The Magic Reading Loop

When you make connections to the literature you're reading, you will remember it for years.

It becomes a part of who you are.

Smell that apple pie? It reminds me of grandma's recipe we baked when we read Charlotte's Web.

The Readers' Guild gives your students the tools they need to build those connections, improve reading comprehension, and become great readers and writers who are able to express themselves eloquently.

Let's Be Honest...

You really have two options:

1. Keep trying to find the right literature curriculum on your own, or

2. let us help you.

Don’t look back and wish you had more time or felt less overwhelmed.

The key to inspiring your children is meeting them where they are—using technology and modern methods to bring classic stories to life.

Introduce them to adventure, intrigue, and mystery, and help them develop a love for literature that will last a lifetime.

Here’s what people are saying:

Don't trust us. Read what others have said about our courses

"Solid content in an interesting format that is very easy to use."

"I particularly like the way these Online Book Club studies take advantage of internet resources to enhance the study of novels while also adding activities for family involvement."

Cathy Duffy

Curriculum Consultant

"My daughter LOVES these courses and I can't wait to learn more from the workshops!"

"If you are in the market for a language arts curriculum that’s already prepared for you and is appealing to kids, then this is for you."

Jen Mackinnon

Working Homeschool Mom

"The kids and I absolutely loved this course."

"The guided learning through technology and movies is a pretty irresistible combination. Better yet, that guided learning comes with plenty of opportunities for family discussion, all with no prep involved. It doesn't get better than that!"
