No More Boring Writing Classes!
Let Your Teen Find Their Voice—
Without the Eye Rolls and Dramatics
Creative Writing I is a 12-week online course for advanced middle and high school homeschoolers who want to build writing confidence, explore their voice, and actually enjoy writing.
With weekly self-paced lessons, live group sessions, and out-of-the-box assignments, your teen will earn a semester of high school credit while learning how to express themselves through writing in a safe and supportive environment.
Let’s be honest: writing can feel intimidating for your teen AND for you.
You want them to write well. But every time you bring it up, they groan.
Or freeze.
Or launch into a dramatic monologue about how they “don’t know what to say.”
You’ve tried all the things: workbooks, grammar-heavy curriculum, even the occasional cookie bribe (we see you).
But nothing sticks.
⚠️Your teen dreads writing.
⚠️You dread teaching it.
⚠️They’re scared to share their work because writing feels personal and vulnerable.
⚠️And honestly, you’d love for someone else to take this off your plate.
What if writing didn’t feel like pulling teeth?
What if your teen could:
ᯓ★ Discover their unique voice—and feel proud of it?
ᯓ★ Say, “That was actually kind of fun” after a writing assignment?
ᯓ★ Build confidence as they learn to express themselves?
ᯓ★ Feel safe enough to share their work without fear of judgment?
That’s the dream, right?
Here’s the thing—
writing doesn’t have to be painful.
You don’t have to be a writer to raise one. And you definitely don’t need another dry textbook or formulaic essay prompt to get there.
Creative Writing I is led by a seasoned homeschool educator who believes writing should be expressive, confidence-building, and—dare we say—fun.
This course blends structure and creativity, offering your teen both freedom to explore and a safe place to grow.
